Do you know who takes some really great pictures? Frank Peter. You could say something about how a lot of the animal photography are taken at zoos, but really, they’re such great shots.

I’m thinking that pretty soon I’ll get a haircut. See, whenever I go get a haircut, I have to wait behind a few people who talk to the barber about big fish stories. Plus my hair just looks ridiculous.

Stuka sent me a picture of a fish he caught at Lake Drano on the border of Oregon (w00t) and Washington (boo (I’m not actually so sure there’s a real Washington vs. Oregon rivalry, but we should totally start one. Come on, it’ll be fun! We’ll tease you for calling yourselves “Washingtonians” and you can tease us for… nothing. Because we’re awesome.)), and I was like “whoa, that fish has the exact same expression on its face as the one Emi posted yesterday.”

It’s a 40 pound beauty, a chinook salmon. Apparently the capture of the fish even got a newspaper story in a Yakima, Washington, newspaper.

I asked, and he did confirm that, in fact, this fish was crazy delicious.

Hahaha, man, this is weird! I found a picture I liked, and I started preparing it, and preparing the links, and I was like “wait, this name… this name rings a bell.” It’s a photograph by the person Emi showcased yesterday, The Horned Jack Lizard! Man, this is the third or fourth time this weekend I’ve had a weird coincidence like this happen.

Yellow bellied water snake! Most snakes look cool when they’re cute. This one just looks dopey! It kind of reminds me of the goombas from the Super Mario Brothers movie. Man, those things are uglorable!

Also, I think I barely made it out of that title tag alive. That closing center tag posed a more difficult challenge than I had expected. I probably should have wrote it in caps, so some of the letters would have been flatter, and easier to walk over. Except a capital “N” would kind of be a really bad trap. Also… I really hope people get that this is a joke, and not think that I’m rambling like an insane person.

We don’t have enough birds on Uglorable, so I decided I should find some. Fortunately for me, The Horned Jack Lizard’s photostream had this incredibly Uglorable picture just waiting for me.

Fortunately he haa a caption saying it’s a baby barn owl, so I do know what it is…. At first I thought it was a monkey.
