Are skunks only ugly because of their smell? They seem awfully cute, in some way.

It’s me again. While I’ve been hiding from everything, I’ve also been scheming. It’ll take a long time to finally see what it adds up to, though.

If you’ll allow me to anthropomorphize the poor creature, its face is as messy as a toddler’s, but it also looks so old! Also, my assumption that anthropomorphizing the animal would only embarrass it is in itself a form of anthropomorphism! Amazing, amazing!

Been sick, sorry… I’ll try to get Kento posting again, so we can get regular posting back! I’ve been busy, and I have a midterm this week… And then next week is busy, then another midterm week…. So yeah. Sorry.

This guy was hanging out on a wall outside of the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum!

Of course we got excited about seeing animals outside of captivity. It was a pretty cool lizard, too!

And here’s the roadrunner, the other animal I decidedly had to see over Spring Break!

He was way in the back of the enclosure, which was sad… But the picture turned out decent. Silly looking buggers, roadrunners!

There were two things I decided I needed to see during spring break. One was a roadrunner, and one was this beauty…

Blue crabs are pretty cool. We found this one at the estuary near Puerto Peñasco in Mexico during Spring Break. We got to go out there with someone from CEDO.
This crab had attitude! Trying to catch it was a whole bunch of excitement in itself… There was a lot of chasing in a creek involved (those fin-like back legs make it FAST in water!), and when Emily grabbed it it pinched her.
Then when we released it, which is what the picture is… It just sat there and started eating!

So I was looking for a bunny to post, and I found one on Flickr, but it turns out it was actually from Cute Overload!
